This print feels like an old-fashioned tintype photograph– dark, yet warm, with areas that are just a tiny bit out of focus. Intriguing and beautiful.

Avocado pits were simmered to make the natural toner for this piece. They created a warm black and stained the paper a muted shade of peach. Variegated gold leaf on the eggshells add to the antique feel.
