~ Barbara Little

Who is this class good for?
You’ll get the most out of this class if you have a little experience printing cyanotypes. If you’re a complete beginner I’d suggest starting with my first video, “Blue Magic: Cyanotype Basics“

If you’ve made cyanotypes before, you may be wondering if you can figure this out on your own. You can, I did. But the video will save you hours of research, trial, and error. As an experienced artist and art educator, I can guide you past the pitfalls.

Do you need a special set up or studio?
Cyanotype is a very safe process that you can definitely do at home. You don’t need a fancy darkroom or studio, just a dim room without sunny windows. A kitchen sink, a table, and any sunny outdoor area for exposure will work just fine.
