ARTHOUSE on R

Upstairs at 10th & R Streets in Sacramento, CA
Show runs Friday, September 7 thru Tuesday, October 8, 2018
ARTHOUSE is open Sundays 11- 4, and Monday through Saturday 10-6)

Alchemy is “a seemingly magical process of transformation, creation, or combination.”

Work in the Solar Alchemy Show breaks the boundaries of the traditional cyanotype process. Images are transformed by drastically increasing exposures, adding extra chemicals, and using eco-printing techniques. After printing, prints are further enhanced using watercolor, pencil, colored pencil, or collage.

There's an element of mystery and lots of experimentation with each new piece – pure MAGIC! Come to ARTHOUSE and see for yourself –

Reception

Second Saturday, September 8, 6-9 p.m.

Open Studio

All weekend September 8-9, from 10 - 5 each day

Artist Talk

Sunday, September 9 at 1:00 p.m.
