It lifts my spirits, calms me, and clears my mind! I walk and I breathe in the world around me. On my walks, I hunt for treasure – stray feathers, rusty junk, intriguing seed pods, mossy twigs and leaves. These items find their way back to my studio and into my work.

The colors and patterns of my sidewalk finds inspired Field Notes. I’ve hand-printed or dyed each fabric using cyanotype, ecoprint, rust, or tea. These one-of-a-kind textiles were then lovingly stitched together into richly colored, quilt-inspired compositions for the home.

Each original piece in the collection was printed, designed and sewn with love, intention and great care. Natural fabrics of cotton, linen and viscose were used in the textile collages and the finished designs were framed with neutral linen borders for a refined and understated look. There are 27 pieces in the collection ranging from a petite 8 x 8 to stunning 18 x 36. It is my hope that they will add a natural element to your home, and give you the soothing feeling of a walk outdoors.
